NORTH GOWER – The Ottawa Carleton Junior Farmers marked a major milestone on March 13, 2026, celebrating their 110th anniversary with a special event held in North Gower.

The evening brought together past and present members, supporters, and community leaders to reflect on more than a century of leadership, agriculture, and rural community involvement. Known for developing young leaders and fostering strong connections within the agricultural sector, the organization has played an important role in shaping generations of rural youth.

Guests enjoyed an evening filled with memories, stories, and recognition of the club’s long-standing impact. Former members shared experiences from their time in the organization, highlighting how Junior Farmers helped build confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships.

The celebration also acknowledged the continued importance of the organization in today’s rural communities. While agriculture and rural life have evolved over the past 110 years, the core values of teamwork, volunteerism, and community service remain unchanged.
