Show season begins

Show season has begun as the Maxville Fair kicked things off in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec on June 22 and 23. The traditional Holstein, Western and Showmanship shows will see entries from across North America compete for the grand champion titles. The smaller livestock farmers can also take part in a few goat, donkey, poultry and other shows that are gaining some interest across the province. Sawyer Helmer photo
