4-H Ontario held their annual Ontario 4-H Foundation golf tournament on Thurs., Aug.19.

The event was held at the Anderson Link Golf Club in Ottawa. The signature sponsor for the tournament was Ontario Mutuals represented by Grenville Mutual Insurance.

Ninety-one golfers signed up for the event.

The success of the annual tournament is due to 4-H support along with community and corporate support. The golf cart sponsor was Canada Life and all of the golfers who signed up had an opportunity to support a great organization and have a day of golf.

The format for the event was a four-person scramble. There was a putting contest on the practice green as well as closest to the pin and longest drive contest.

The winning team was Bruce Radburn, Scott Pasiechnyk, Giuliano Tolusso and Jill Magnussen.

The longest Drive (Women) was Patti Negrave, the longest drive (Men) was Justin Machan. Closest to the Pin (Women) was Susan Sarich. The closest to the Pin (Men) was Jason VanOers.

The winner of the putting contest was Paul Downey.
