Agricorp.’s crop insurance deadline for reporting soybeans and corn yields is Dec. 15. If either of these crops is still in the field, farmers are advised to call Agricorp to report the progress of their harvest. To keep a possible claim open, it is mandatory that the customer contacts the company prior to the deadline.

The Agricorp website says the company “understands that it has been a stressful year and the harvest season is busy one.”

There is some talk among Eastern Ontario farmers about whether to leave the crop in the field and dry down normally or to improve the grade of the crop. It is recommended that Agricorp customers discuss this with an Agricorp representative prior to making decisions.
