GUELPH – The members of Grain Farmers of Ontario chose to go with proven leadership as they re-elected members of the existing Executive Board to guide the organization through the coming year.

Re-elected as Chair of Grain Farmers of Ontario was Jeff Harrison. Harrison farms in the Quinte region and represents District 12 (Durham, Northumberland, Kawartha, Peterborough, and Hastings).

Re-elected as Vice Chair was Josh Boersen, who farms in Perth County and represents District 9 (Perth).

Also re-elected as Vice Chair was Julie Maw, who farms in Lambton County and represents District 3 (Lambton).

Also elected as an Executive Committee member was Gus Ternoey. Ternoey farms in Kent County and represents District 2 (Kent).

The Executive Committee provides leadership and oversight on behalf of Grain Farmers of Ontario’s Board of Directors, supporting advocacy, policy development, and strategic priorities that advance the interests of Ontario’s grain farmer-members.

Grain Farmers of Ontario represents more than 28,000 farmer-members who grow barley, corn, oats, soybeans, and wheat across the province.
