CHESTERVILLE – Author and illustrator Patsy Primeau of Munro Mills near Apple Hill has produced a fun-filled book for children of all ages called The Misadventures Out on Tex’s Farm!
Primeau explained, she began her career as an artist about three years ago when invited to a painting party by a neighbour. She enjoyed painting “quirky critters” based on the family’s recollection of things which happened on the farm growing up. The idea for the book was conceived after friends suggested she had talent.
She mentioned how several of the characters are based on family members, with their stories told in delightful rhymes that are enjoyable to read, with the accompanying pictures, a treat for the eyes. Primeau is currently working on her second book The Misadventures Out on Tex’s Farm! Part Deux, which she hopes will be published by the end of 2023.
