GREELY – The monthly meeting of Ottawa-St. Lawrence and Quinte Branches of the Ontario Institute of Agrologists (OIA) was held at Emerald Links Golf Course on Thurs., May 30.
The meeting was marked with the presentation of Heather Watson, executive director of Farm Management Canada (FMC), on FMC’s programs and activities. FMC’s premier Agricultural Excellence Conference AgEx will be held this year in Fredericton New Brunswick from Dec. 2 to 4.
The Ottawa-St. Lawrence Branch is working with FMC, along with other farm organizations, to recruit and send youth delegates from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec to the conference.
