Glengarry County 4-H hosted the Glengarry-Stormont joint judging night in Maxville on July 18. Members gave reasons on various classes such as horses, mixed hay, heifers, bread and a weed identification quiz. This year the group tried a different format by running the event in the evening. Members judged a class and then gave reasons. Pictured, Emma Moran and Joseanne Lacombe review the characteristics of this class of heifers. Glengarry top six judges were Pierre-Luc Hurtubuise, Fia Leroux, Cassie MacIntosh, Joseanne Lacombe, Andrew Frei and Kylie Cornellison. Stormont top judges were: Novice – Lillian Smith, Junior – Melanie Fogarty, Intermediate – Haleigh-Jo Teplate and Senior – Aimee VanLoon.        Vogel photo
